LATIN NAME: Helianthus annuus.
SOURCE: Cold pressed refined in Italy.
COLOUR: Clear pale yellow.
AROMA: Slightly of the seed, light and oily.
QUALITIES: Contains vitamins A,B,D and E, and is high in unsaturated fatty acids. It has a light texture, leaving the skin silky smooth and non greasy. An ideal base, it can be used on its own or with the addition of other heavier oils. Tastes slightly of sunflower seed. The oil seems to embody the spirit of the plant - whenever I use it I'm reminded of sunshine and fields of bright yellow sunflowers. Not to be confused with the commercial sunflower oil, which is usually solvent extracted.
All oils should be kept out of eyes. Do not put on top eye lid as this may run into eyes. You should be able to use at 100% unless you are sensitive.
May Contains Nut Oil, as bottled near nut oils.
