The oils we supply, according to our knowledge are of the highest quality - pure, undiluted and derived from the named botanical species. We always try to supply oils which are organic (no artificial fertilizers or pesticides). Even though most harmful pesticides do not distill into the oil, we detest them and would like to see the end of their use.

The oils are all subjected to rigorous testing: weight per mille, optical rotation and refractive index, on top of our own testing. We test our oils with equipment to insure purity - one of the tests being Hewlett-Packard GC-MSD in conjunction with Wiley275 thousand spectrum databases and structures library for easy peak identification. GC & GC-MS helps quantifies the chemical components, of which there can be over 200.

Testing has been conducted by Dr. Kevin Brigden, Iryna Labounskaia, Scott Ballard and a number of other laboratories.

We test because our families use Kobashi oils every day in one way or another. We test because we have over 1000 therapist of who use our oils, including a number of hospitals. It cost, but it is well worth it for personal satisfaction.
