Here's a email which was sent to me by someone who now buys our products.
Dear Scott: Thank you for answering me so quickly. I have been selling Young living, for about 4 years, but because I am unable to buy 50.00 a month right now, because of other financial troubles, I do not get any money, it all goes to my upline, which is a bummer, but I guess that how it works. I hadn't brought much income in from the oils to speak of, because most of my people are customers, and not working the business, but I've had my web site up for a few years, with minimal results. The Frankincense as you probably already know from YL> is 60.00 a bottle, so it defiantly isn't cheaper, but I noticed is more potent then yours in the smell, so I was wondering why, and how dr. young can put such a high price on that oil. I know so little about the process, it would be nice to have the inside scoop and the real truth. I love frankincense, its my favorite oil. You know its really funny, I have done different multi level marketing for 15 -20 years, and have not been very successful at any, and I've worked very hard at most, maybe its just set up for some people to get rich, or maybe I don't have what it takes?? I've never quite figured it out all this time. Somehow I have a strange feeling about Dr. Young even though I've met him several times, he seems to have integrity, but something isn't right, I guess I am specious for some reason, I don't know exactly what it is.
I feel there's a reason I happened upon your site in such a weird way, so I wanted to experience your oils, and get to know you. thank you for your time and attention. Please tell me the difference between the distillation process, DR Young says he has the ancient Egyptian secrets of distillation, which makes his oils so superior, I don't understand that!!

It's awful to hear your story about all the hard work you have done for so little return.
Multi level can make products very expensive. Of course the people who benefit more are the people on the top, the people who are really good at marketing. This is the same with most businesses. I personally believe in order to make money at multilevel you must rent out halls, give lectures, indoctrinate people and help them up the percentages. You will also need to look for opportunities to sell to your friends, family and anyone who walks by.
I do not personally know Mr. Young. I have not tested any of his oils, so I don't know really anything about the quality of his oils, except for what I have heard. You can not know the truth with essential oils unless you do a Head space analysis & Gc-Ms analysis on every oil or have overseen the whole process from field, to distillation, to bottling and labeling.
If you are happy with his oils I suggest you buy them from him.
On your question about the stronger Aroma of your Frankincense: I can only quess you were probably using thurifera, which is a lower grade of frankincense and much less expensive to purchase; it has a stronger aroma. We at Kobashi have analyzed olibanium samples from various sources, Boswellia carterii white, red and mixed and Boswellia thurifera grades 1,2,3,4. Distillations. We are selling Boswellia Carterii, which has a light spicy lemony aroma.
Using deductive reasoning will get you to the truth about "Ancient Egyptian secrets of distillation" Doesn't it sound nice though.

PS.
What are you willing to believe should be what are you willing to investigate. The truth is in your heart and hearts get broken. The strong face the truth and smile and get on with it. Direct experience is a way to true knowledge. Try distilling Frankincense: I have.
The trap of anyone who sells is how far are they willing to go. What are they willing to say to get money. Some even go as far as believing their own hype.Truth is the religion of the free, as long as one believes in spirit.
Unfortunately there are people who want to believe more in money than in truth. Money has a tangible quality: it puts food in the mouth, clothes on owns back and shelter from the cold. People do not live by bread alone. Especially if you believe in something beyond this life. Truth takes a great deal of investigation. How many people are willing to devote their life to searching and speaking the truth??
You have to be willing to die for the truth. Money and position must be put aside. BraveHeart is one of my favorite movies. http://www.ozcraft.com/scifidu/brvheart.html
Best Regards,
Scott Ballard
